Ch-eese is a 6 week series of good cheese, dinner, friends and open honest discussions about God and Christianity.

The aim is not to shove Christianity down non-believers throats but to fill them with food, hospitality and love. It is designed as a pre-foundations course and not a replacement for alpha or any other foundations course that is currently being used.
Ch-eese has been designed for a post everything world, for communities that would not be found dead in a church. For new age people who are generally aware that there is spirituality but have firmly decided that Christianity is not the solution but, more often than not, the cause of the problem.
Ch-eese is set up in such a way that it allows open honest criticism and a non-judgemental environment. In an ideal world, people would attend every session but we are aware that this is often not possible. It should be held in people’s homes and in groups of no more than 8 people.
Here is an example of the theme of Week 1 of the Ch-eese Course.
Gorgonzola - The Stinky Cheese
Gorgonzola is a traditional, creamy and co-operative blue cheese. The greenish-blue penicillin mould imparts a sharp, spicy flavour and provides an excellent contrast to the rich, creamy cheese. At about four weeks the cheeses are pierced with thick needles to encourage the spread of the mould. The taste ranges from mild to sharp, depending on age.
When we think about the church, do we turn our noses up at its reputation or do we take a chance and experience the richness and depth of the real thing?
