Jesus' command to his disciples was to go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20). That command applies equally to us and so we are committed to being an apostolic people. By that we mean that we will make every effort to go to both our neighbours and the nations with the gospel, planting new churches, resourcing existing churches, giving of our time, our money, our gifts and our talents to see God's kingdom come and God's will be done across the world.
With this in mind we decided to launch Language Junction. We wanted to provide language courses to empower people to minister in other cultures. So far we have done a French course but we would like to also do a Portugese and a Spanish course at some stage and whatever else is required.
Our first course was an intensive ten week course (four hours on a Saturday morning) for R1200. If you are interested in doing a Language Junction course in the future please speak to Frederika Baxter or email team@melvillejunction.net.
