We are based in Melville, Johannesburg, at the beginning of the 21st century so the context in which we live and serve is quite specific and, in some ways, quite unique. Our task as a local church, however, was set for us by Jesus 2000 years ago when he commissioned the church to go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:18-20).

So, we're about making disciples of Christ. But we're not interested in making just any type of disciple. We believe that if we're going to do something we should do it wholeheartedly and go all the way. If we're going to follow Christ we should jump in with both feet and give it all we've got. The kinds of disciples we're looking to be and make are those whose lives are so shaped and transformed by Jesus that without Him they simply don't make sense. It's radical discipleship we're after.
