Part of doing our best to follow Jesus is doing our best to think like Jesus. But no sooner have we resolved to study the Scriptures that we come up against a problem that's fairly unique to our age. We get information overload. If you google any particular doctrine you get a thousand perspectives and more often than not its not the best researched or most logical thinkers that get rated highly on the 'ol google-ometer.

So how are we to learn and grow in understanding sifting the wheat form the chaff?

With this in mind Melville Junction is taking the first steps to getting the best theological library in the world! It might take us some time, but at least we're aiming high :-) To start off we're going to have a reference library here at the church where meville junkies can come and read up on things.

Right now we just have a barren wall where the books will go. To help stock the library, go to www.loot.co.za and click on the wishlist button the top right of the screen. Then type in team@melvillejunction.net in the wishlist search bar. You should see a bunch of books come up that you can purchase for our library. We really want a library that reflects the best that is out there and so have prioritized quality above quantity.

As the books come in they will be made available and don't forget our resident theologian is in on most Mondays and Thursdays if you got some stuff you want to chat about (Just call in the office).
